The Truth is a Lie Many are taught that no matter what the scenario, it is always best to tell the truth. However, there are many times when telling the truth is wrong. In R.K. Narayan?s short story, ?Like the Sun?, the main character Sekhar makes a vow to only tell the truth, but ends up regretting that decision. Through Sekhar?s truthful encounters with his wife, his coworker, and his boss, Narayan shows that telling the truth is not always the right thing to do.
