Jun. 1914 My name is Leroy Gericault. I am 20 years of age and I am from Versailles, France. I am a French marine, my duty, to attack against all odds and if support is lost, than, to stand my ground and wait until support arrives. I am being assembled by French officials, after only a few weeks of training, to take part in what I can only imagine to be a war greater than any other.
