So you've landed that interview at Publix. The manager saw your resume, it looked good enough, and now he wants to talk to you face to face, learn a little more about the "personal side" of you.

What first, right? I'm sure you've heard hundreds of tidbits on what to do. Keep eye contact, look at him directly, but not forcefully, yet not too passively. Shake his hand, web to web and firm. Not too hard though! Confusing, I know.

So today, I'll be starting with the most basic thing that many people seem to overlook. Your dress.

SATs

Who doesn't enjoy spending a Saturday morning in a classroom with strangers taking a 150+ question test that includes an essay? I don't.

But it's necessary, everyone needs to take the SAT, either that or the ACT. But we sure as anything don't want to take the thing more than once. I remember the first time I took it, I got out at 1:15 in the afternoon and silently vowed, "Never again."

How many of you guys have jobs? Want jobs? Heck, need jobs? Who doesn't want to make a little extra coin, right? I mean, I worked hard enough to get my car, I sure as anything didn't want to go begging to Mom and Dad for a loan. But there's always that catch with getting a job.

Summer is here, and for many of us (me included), it's a time for some well-deserved R&R. But for some others, summer means SAT prep. I swear that I've gotten at least a dozen e-mails regarding SAT prep classes, and while I've never had the motivation to wake up that early during my summer, I've seen plenty of my friends spend their weeks in and out of SAT prep.
