STUDY HABITS 101

1. First and foremost: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. One of worst things in the world is procrastination, resulting in stressful nights, late assignments, and mediocre work. Always try to finish assignments early. Whenever you get the chance, attempt to do your homework. This will result in less stress and more free time. Better quality work will result in better grades and an overall better sense of accomplishment. This applies not only to homework, but also to class work, projects, tests, etc.

2. Always review your work. Reviewing your work may seem to a repetitive task, but in reality, it helps to drill your lessons into your brain. It also helps in the quest to find errors or improve your work.

3. Before a test it is always a good idea to rewrite your notes or redo some of your homework. Concepts that you might have forgotten earlier on can be refreshed and new techniques can be discovered when you review your old notes. Reviewing these techniques not only provides more practice, but also grants you the ability to work faster. If you are in a history or English class, it is always a good idea to reference other sources. Course-notes.org is a great website to use for outlines, since out database is continually growing. For math and science classes, as I mentioned before, it is always a good idea to redo some homework problems. Going through the chapters and looking at the examples I preferable. This process should not be done at the last minute, so if there is anything you need help with, you can ask your teacher.

4. Let me state this again so I can properly emphasize, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. This is truly the destroyer of titans. Trust me, do not do it. It is easy to give into temptation, but it is very wrong.

Follow these steps and success will be within your reach.
