MEAN VALUE THEROM: If f(x) is differentiable on the interval (a, b) open AND continuous on the interval [a,b] closed THEN There has to be at least one number x=c (Could be more) between a and b such that f?(c) = f(b)-f(a) /f-a ROLLE?S THEROM: What if f(a)=f(b)? Then right side of the Mean Value Therom becomes 0 and the conclusion is that f?(c) is somewhere between a and b.
