Hey everybody. I'm just curious which US History book everyone is using. My class uses the American Pageant 11th Edition. (aka Bailey) This information might be useful when it comes to making outlines or what not.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!

Our class uses Blum, Brinkley, Nash and Zinn. All are good, but Zinn. (too liberal for my likes.)---Jake
Our class also uses the "American Pagaent" although I personally feel it has too much extranious information.
trust me - you are not alone in that thinking :)
We dont need to know the height of the presidents in centimeters, inches, feet and meters for the AP test lol

Yeah as well as the color of their eyes, hair, and all of their personality traights for each individual person listed anywhere in the book!
so how far are you in the book.
Im taking AP-US History and we uses many books, but the main one is called THE AMERICAN PROMISE [Not the best, but better than American Promise :p ]
Located in Ny. We're using American Pageant, Spirit, Zinn, and Amsco. Amsco was said to be hard to find. You have to order it to get it.
My class uses Brinkley as well as Amsco for our AP classes. Brinkley's a pain to read, but it's very detailed and is good to study from. Amsco is easier to go through it seems. It is more vague, but gives you a main outline of each topic... We're about to end WW1.
We use both American Pageant 11th and 12th editions. The class sets are 11th Edition, while our books that we take home for notes and reading is the 12th Edition.
