I'm not really an expert on this I just wanted to fill this Gap.....
So how do you people handle dating in school? :)
(High School to be more specific)
Hey why not I ask this question too...
How many people registered in this forum have a boyfriend or girlfriend?
I'm in college and I have a girlfriend.
What exactly do you mean handle dating in school? I just graduated from HS so its not like I've forgotten everything

i have a boyfriend.. i dont know what you mean 'handle dating in highschool'. ummm its not hard for me. i concentrate on school and my classes.. and during break, lunch and afterschool i have boyfriend time. anddddddddd... its not that complicated. my boyfriend and i have been together since freshman year and were in our junior year now and were both still getting good grades, you just need to seperate relationships and schoolwork and learn how to manage both, i guess.
I'm single so I can't really tell you how I handle dating since I don't have a girlfriend.
being in a relationship in high school could be complicated for certain people. those who are not focused but for those who are focused it's not really hard to handle. But i prefer to stay single so as to fully concentrate on my studies.

I am in highschool junior, and I have a girlfriend. She is in college, so I don't have to worry about the relationship interfering with being in school, as much as with doing homework. With that though, if it ever begins to become an issue that I don't have enough time, I opt for spending time just together, not going out or anything just her watching TV or going online while I do work, that way we spend quality time together without slacking on important things. It is actually nice too:) and rather domestic which I think is cute of us.
Im a junior and i have a boyfriend that doesnt even go to my school or live that close to me...sometimes it is hard for us especially when i have alot of homework....the only thing you can really do is balance your time as best as yall can and it will be fine. :)
Everything is worth a try!!
I just broke up with my boyfriend a few months ago... so sad. we'd been together nearly 2 years. um... how do I handle it? Well, it was a little difficult for me to hang out with him outside school because his mother--*mutters vulgarities*--is an uptight, old-fashioned twit. Who is convinced I'm a bad influence on him. The foolish fool actually repeated this to me, wouldn't defend my honor when she insulted it. You can guess how long that lasted. I really liked him, but he had no respect for me.
At first I tried to still be friends and break the "no-talking" rule that happend so often between ex's, but he was rude to me so now I pretty much wish he would die. Either that or get adopted by gypsies. Or hit in the crotch with an anvil. or run over by an oil tanker. or eaten by a carnivorous animal of some kind. I'm a little sour about it, lol.

I think soozin you are amazing, you have just my sense of humor:)
I'm a junior in high school, and single now, luvin it...most of the time. Personally I think dating somebody during school makes it easier for you. They can offer support and give you a reason to look forward to school. Also an added incentive to keep your grades up because if my grades drop I'm not allowed to go out anywhere so dating somebody usually doesn't bring my grades down. so yea
dating and school don't go together for me. last time i had a boyfriend i fell behind in my classes.
