lol. i got in mountaineous trouble this year cuz my section leader was a nazi for the longest time. and when people act all over-oppressive and demanding and stuff i cant help but break more rules, so i easily got in trouble thrice a day for a fair bit of time.
it was fun tho, hahaha

oh and der laufer, you did xc?
how many years? what was your best 1/ 2/ 3 mile? and was your team good?
sorry to hammer you with all the questions but while i was doing xc i took it serious and even went to practice if i was sick, i loved it. and i mean loved it. xc was great.

Haha I don't mind answering. I did xc my sophomore, junior, and senior years (I didn't know about it freshman year, sadly). My best mile time is 5:40, I'm not sure about 2 miles, and my best three is 18:41. The team sophomore year was good; we made it to sectionals, then junior year was...different. We lost a lot of good runners so it was more of a recruiting year, then this year, the team didn't make it to sectionals, nor did I (I missed the cut-off by two spots!), but two of my team mates did make it, and one even went to state and finished in the top 15. So, I guess our team was good. :) I am going to miss it next year.

I totally understand the whole nazi section leader thing. Freshman year...ah, it was horrible. He was a jerk. I just hope I'm not that bad... :) I don't think I'm that bad, I just demand that everyone be able to play his or her part more or less correctly.

thats not bad at all. i got in trouble for eveything you can look for, alot of times for things i wasnt doing. =/
see since im new at the school im at this year and i came late i got stuck playing auxillary in pit, and i got EEEAAASSSYYYY parts. (laamee).
so whenever we had any bit of down time he MADE me practice my parts and id be like "your right cory, i was having ALOT, of trouble with those CRAZY average quarter notes i got goin on"
and another time i forgot my band shirt we had to wear at practice on thursdays and he made run 3 laps. that was partially my fault tho because he knew my cross country/ track background and i egged him on a little :D .
i got in trouble like 9874598459847598359834593875937597498 or more times, usually for talking to my friend who was right next to me, (also on auxillary). and half of the time i wasnt even talking. like id just glance at my friend and my section leader would be like REESE STOP TALKING!!! and my friend and i would be like hey wtf no one was talking and then hed be like shut up, dont give me that!
and at a game once we were sitting in the parking lot of the stadium waiting to put all our crap in the trailer but we needed the other band to finish firts, i whispered to my friend and with his Superman hearing, he was like REESE. QUIT TALKING. so then i made like a gun to my head motion and then he moved me halfway across the lot for talking. LAMEEE.
and there were many other humiliating moments, that many a time made me want to quit band BADD. but i survived..somehow..

wow. Yeah, I´m not that mean... I hope. I alway enjoyed watching people have to do laps. I never minded...but that is a xc thing I think.

yeah your probably right. haha, one time i forgot something i needed, and brought some shorts and my running shoes instead and i made my lap into a time trial
:D
thats probably bad, but still, oppression produces rebellion. if saddam were president id be first on the execution list

Haha. I would be right behind you. I think the worst thing that happened to my band as a whole was when we had to do 80 jumping jacks.

We were talking too much and not marching up to his standards.

ohhh. 80 jumping jacks isnt that bad i guess tho, i mean at least your director wasnt all hardcore about it and made you guys do 80 push ups. that would suck. but then again itd probably be too demanding.
