And I'd just like to say for the record that I am not a user, in fact I've never even tried it. I don't think that I should smoke, but I'm perfectly okay with others doing it.
Like you said. Kids are exposed to it already. Look at cigarettes. They're legal, and see how many kids smoke? What about alcohol? For letting others smoke... like I said, you just let them die...? That's pretty harsh don't you think...you could've save that lady because it wasn't your responsibility...

And to think...what kind of country let's drugs be legal? Not a good one...

The below statement is false.
The above statement is true.

People make conscious choices to smoke, it's not like they don't know the effects. I might think they shouldn't, but they legally should have the right to do it. This shouldn't need to be a governmental issue, It should be a social one.

Well let's take a look...

It would get rid of criminals who deal drugs and who sell them for X prize. It would get rid of smuggling between countries, etc. It would benefit the economy tremendously.

So many things which can be expounded upon, I just don't feel like doing so.

Welcome back, GreekRayne! It's been a while since you've been on :D

And AP, Armondo's a mod. We are supposed to not understand them, they're confusing that way.

Well, I don't think it should, but if it is, it would benefit us a lot.

well...in my honest opinion, i think mary jane should be legal. i don't smoke, nor do i drink, but i truly believe marijuana should be legalized.

my dad's been all over the world and he said that in germany (maybe a different euro nation...not sure on teh nation but true story) people were gathering in a park for no reason. he went out there to see what' shappening and he saw an ambulance pull up in the middle of the park. staffs came out of the ambulance and basically administered some kinda addictive drug through a needle (probably hero). he said they were doing this because people were catching AIDS sharing needles and some were going insane to the point of suicide. i dont know if this itself is a good idea, but it surely is an interesting solution.

my view on MJ: i kinda got this from a comedy skit lol. marijuana grows from the dirt, it's all natural. what isnt natural is 90 year old men with erections. if marijuana was legalized, it would stop smuggling, and people would be less interested in teh thrill of the illegal drug...although it's very easily bought these days. we would have to enforce a strict law on it, enforce it a lot more than alcohol.

If it ever happens, it should be state by state regulation. Not federal.
