so, this weekend me and some friends were out hiking and we got ourselves into a situation (don't ask how) where the only way out was to climb a cliff. so my friend finds a good route up the cliff right next to this dead tree trunk that was up against the cliff (this cliff was nearly but not quite verticle). he climbs to the top and says that it is safe so i start climbing and then he accidentaly dislodges a rock the size of my face. this rock proceeds to bounce down the cliff at a fairly high speed right at my face. i jumped out of the way but if it had hit me it would have crushed the front of my head in. i would have then fallen back onto a pointy rock behind me and crushed the back of my head in, and i would have been dead. just, dead.:(
i know people always say that teenagers think they are invincible but i never really thought about it cuz i figured i would never be in a situation where i might die.
anyone else got a good story about almost dying?
all in all, it's just another brick in the wall...
