Chapters 1-8, multiple choice, and a DBQ about wethersfield, CT (worth 30-40% of the grade)
Is there any tips for studying for a MC test on so much material? I took the ACE practice quizes, and im only getting 70% on most of them :(
(Note the DBQ does not need outside info)
And are there good techniques of finding the right and wrong answers (kind of like on the SATs) my teacher uses similar questions to the ACE and AP mc questions
I would say try to outline the chapters yourself and just try to memorize the key points and the big ideas rather than each individual detail.
You might also want to make notecards or something of the sort.
Good luck!
Im printing out note outlines, it takes me about an hour to re-read each chapter, and i dont have the time...hopefully the multiple choice will focus or fact and not theoretical based
That works too!
Good luck
Wow, that's a HUGE test. I'm glad my teacher isn't like that. I have a test tomorrow too, but it's only for 6-9. I got a 95 before test corrections on my last test by making (not finding) a timeline so I could see the cause and effect of everything. The questions on my test were more purpose and cause and effect questions than factual questions. My essay question was relatively easy. I read my chapters once. They take forever to read, so I printed out the outlines from this site and studied from that. I also printed out the unit notes. Those help A LOT.
Good luck on your test!! I felt so sick the morning of my first test and I was ready to do a happy dance after I turned it in. I'm not so worried about my test tomorrow. Hope you do well!
my first test was chapters 1-5 with an essay. and i got the 3rd highest grade in the class, and still failed. so yeah.
if your teacher takes stuff straight from AP tests (my teacher does..)..then you should try studying cause and effect..and connecting everything together..itll help a lot..
yeah, i just had a test on chapters 7-9... one person got a B, and the rest of us got D's.
these aren't always the easiest tests to study for, but I guess there's a way to do it. :-P
