Who is your favorite band/artist?

personally, i LOVE thrice, chevelle, and linkin park. i just can't choose between them it's too hard. but, my quote is from thrice...so thrice maybe? i dunno.

'Parody of an angel, miles above the sea. I hear the voice of reason, screaming after me:
"You've flown far too high child now you're too close to the sun,Soon your makeshift wings will come undone!"
But how will I know limits from lies if I never try?'

Hmmm, I think ACDC, Areosmith, Bad Company, and Cream. I can't decide which either.

I'm kinda stuck between Indigo Girls and Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy. Rockish and Swing. Oh how I wish swing were more popular...

Cream is excellent, I have their Best Of album.

Goodness...you want me to pick 3 favorites? THERE'S SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! And my favorite changes so often.

Recently I've been listening to a lot of Chick Corea and Return to Forever, which is Jazz-Fusion stuff. I'm also a big fan of jazz guitarists: Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino, and Joe Pass. I love all their work as leaders, and I basically study it. And when I feel like getting less jazzy, I listen to some Rage Against The Machine or Dead Kennedys.

Why shadow, you're a rocker at heart! You listen to non-jazz/funk sometimes! :D

i like some of rise against the machine, but sometimes it doesn't really sound like music to me.

Well "Rise Against" and "Rage Against the Machine" are different bands, so I'm not totally sure who you're talking about :P

And yes Xena, I do listen to non-jazz/funk music now and then :D
