      Electronegativity is used to describe and find bonds and compounds. If the E.N is from 0-0.3 it is "pure covalent" or non polar. If the E.N is from 0.31-1.7 its is "polar covalent" and considered polar. If the E.N is over/ greater than 1.7 it is considered Ionic.
