Review up to the end of the civil war 1. Indentured Servitude- An indentured servant was a laborer under contract to an employer for a set amount of time ranging from three to seven years. The laborer in turn receive transatlantic passage and freedom dues. Unlike slaves, they only worked for a period of time. 2. The freemen elected all the positions in the village yet the puritans were the only freemen.
