summer time line
AP Art History Summer Project 2012-13 Time line 8000-2000 BCE 2000-1000 BCE 1000 BCE ? 1 CE 1 ? 500 CE 500 ? 1000 CE 1000 ? 1400 CE 1400 ? 1600 CE 1600 ? 1800 CE 1800 ? 1900 CE 1900 ? Present It is important to understand the role of art throughout history, and how it changes or remains the same. Also we should appreciate the timeframe we are referring to when we discuss any work of art. Use the dates above to draw a timeline ?to scale?. This means the timeline must represent 10,000 years evenly. How your divide the segments is up to you. BUT? You must figure out a way to have a visual representation of one work of art in each segment of the timeline listed above. (This can be very tricky, depending on the size of your entire timeline. Be creative!)
