Caroline Doran October 7, 2015 Mr. Marinelli Theology 9 The Bible ?The Bibles true meaning and purpose: its words are meant to speak to our hearts and minds?? Page 1 I liked tis because I agree that the Bible was meant to tell stories and speak to us. ?If we were reading a religious story and thought that it was historically true we might miss the whole point of the story? Page 2 I thought they were true. ?He was also the answer to my hunch, and I gave him the extra coat.? Page 3 I like that he was able to help the man. ?Christians see Jesus as the long- awaited Messiah - the fulfillment of all God?s promises to Israel and the savior of the world? ? Page 4 I like this because I liked that it says that the Son of God has brought the world back into place.

Star - ?In fact, it is much more like a library than a single book.? Page 3 I would like to look at this more because it is an interesting way to look at it.

Grace Doran 11/5/15 Mr.Marinelli Theology Pentateuch/Torah Notes Rubricl ?God?s promise-Obstacles-Fulfillment of God?s Promise?- I starred this because I think it is true that God helps us through all of the hard times. It also shows that he doesn?t let us down. ?631 laws? I wondered why, if there are all of these rules do we only emphasize the 10 commandments. ?The future liberator of the Israelites is raised in the imperial household.? I starred this because I think it is crazy that he grew up with them and still betrayed them. I also didn?t know this at first.

?What is History?? by Edwin Fenton Why is knowledge of the past incomplete? Knowledge of the past can be considered incomplete because only a small proportion of what has happened in the past is actually documented. For example, most men and woman, or historians, may have only recorded what seemed most important, such as famous literature, new architecture and important people. This means that other events, people and the things that they did that were never written down are lost to time. History can be considered a record of events recorded in a form that has survived until the present day. Why might such documents present an inadequate view of history and why might such documents be biased?
