The three distinct feature of the Art Noveau style are 1) the use of organic elements, 2) Curvilinear design motifs, referred to as the whiplash curve, and 3) the integration of all design elements into a whole. In Cornet?s Casa Mil? he incorporates the idea of a ?living whole? and restructures it to another level. The structure is seen with multiple undulating forms while wrapping around the street?s corner as if molded from clay. His structure also features windows that resemble ?cave openings, ?organic? iron railings, and fantastical chimneys.
