Morgan Torbert P8 Dinner Party Character Sketch March 2nd 2011 Pope Leo XIII: A Church Revolutionary It has been a long time since the Pope has had major influence in European policies. Pope Leo worked hard to put the papacy back into the action. Pope Leo XIII is best known for the development and understanding of religious education and of social philosophies. He also defined the Church in society with regard to more modern thoughts and applications. He eventually became the 256th Pope of the Catholic Church. This was a revolutionary way of looking at the combination of church and state. It helped to reassert the Pope and the church into politics and the worldview. This is an important development to understand the change in the role that the church plays in more modern society.

Let us not forget that Charles Darwin is the big guy for all things evolution, upon traveling to the Galapagos mainly to study and research the land and animals. He took into account the difference or the shapes of animals, colours and actions. His theory of evolution came from how he saw two similar birds, but their beaks were in a way different.
