Powerpoint Hints ? 1.???? One background for the whole presentation.? Avoid pictures as background. ? 2.??? Follow the 7/7 rule: No more than seven words per line.? No more?than seven lines per slide.?? ? 3.??? No more than three different fonts.? This means that one font can appear in three sizes, one font in one size and another in two sizes, etc.? ? 4.??? Go easy on the ?extras.?? Words that wave their way in are cute once. On every slide they?re annoying. ? 5.??? No font smaller than 22. ? 6.??? Do not read your slides to the class. A PPT presentation is basically a speech, with a nifty visual aid.? What?s on your slides should help your presentation, not BE your presentation.
