Crossed 12,000 to 15,000 years. Nomadic Hunters who drifted in pursuit of vast herds of mammals, mammoths, musk, oxen, bison and woolly rhinoceroses. In the next 500 years the Siberians migrated outwards from the Arctic Circle to the tip of South America. Southwestern Europe Recent archaeological discoveries in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Chile reveal that prehistoric humans arrived by sea 18,000 to 40,000 years ago.
