He is most famous for the discovery of operant behavior. He stated that behaviors were dependent upon what happens after the response. Specific Contribution to the Study of Psychology: Skinner published hundreds of articles and about twenty books about psychology. His research on behaviors contributed to experimental psychology. His discovery of operant behavior is still used today.
