GNP- The Gross National Product, it applies to one country and it refers to the market value of all of its goods and services produced in one year by property and labor. Depression of Abundance- ? unemployed & starving w/ surplus food but can?t sell food. Emergency Banking Act- Passed on March 9th, 1933, it allowed for the close of "insolvent" banks and to reorganize and reopening of those that qualified and wouldn't fail. CCC- The Civilian Conservation Corps operated between 1933-1942. It was a public works relief program for men. It usually gave out lots of unskilled jobs. AAA- The Agricultural Adjustment Act was put into effect on May 12th, 1933. Basically, the government would pay the farmers to growers to reduce their farm acerage to eliminate high prices on crops.
