The peoples from Mesopotamia and Egypt shared similarities in the way they governed their people. Of course they also had differences, for example, maybe each civilization had kings that would claim to be a divinity. The similarities and differences in the way they assumed power, what the kings were in charge of, and how they maintained their loyalty are all important to the way that the civilizations coexisted.
