sEn10rs!

Sep 14, 2009

This article is for those of you who are seniors, CLASS OF 2010!! And for those of you who are not- go away and read this next year(just kidding). But we have NINE months left till graduation. So what do to the teachers want us to do? Think about college. It's bad enough that we are getting pressure from home, but now school is starting to talk to us about it too! That is all anyone ever talks about anymore. I eat, drink, sleep and socialize with college on my mind. Sometimes i cannot even fall asleep because I am thinking too much about college. When does it end?

April 1st. That is when the stressing of essays, SATS, and ACTS finally end. But again, until then WHAT can we do to stop from thinking so much about the inevitable? It is our Senior year, what can we do....have fun! This is probably the last time you will see your friends, so just let loose. Now I am not condoning bad behavior, you can have fun without being potentially destructible. So what do we do?

Find things that you would have done 10 years ago, most of us are about to turn 18 and we will never be children again (legally). To ease off some of the stress try going to a Moon-bounce with your friends. Or going on a hike. Even just playing manhunt or hide-and-seek (in the dark of course) can be extremely enjoyable. These are the times that when you look back five year from now- you will regret that you did not appreciate the luxuries that came with childhood. Drinking can be done when you are mature and can support your self, but acting younger than your age can never be done again.

Getting involved in school senior activities also takes some of the stress of schoolwork. Join your senior clubs or run for office-I guarantee you that the year will go by faster if you do something productive with yourself. I know where a lot of you are coming from; this last semester is going to be MAJOR for us. But we have to push through. We have to enjoy what is left of our childhoods before the real world starts to come after us.

Need Notes?

While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
