Most high school seniors, including myself, recently have undergone the stressful college application process. Now, we find ourselves waiting for the dreaded decision letters. Personally, I think the “wait” is more stressful than the actual process of applying. When I was working on my college applications, the stressful part is getting everything in on time. Now that everything is done, I feel helpless. There’s nothing more I can do. Many times, when listing our extracurriculars, we leave out one or two.

Recently, a lot has happened at Course-Notes. However, Course-Notes is back and fully functioning! I want to thank all the loyal members who continue to rely on Course-Notes despite the recent havoc. Your support is greatly appreciated. To all the seniors out there, the toughest part of high school is over. Most applications are sent and now, the only thing to do is wait for admissions decisions. It is never easy to get a rejection letter. However, that rejection does not mean you aren’t “good enough” for that school. It simply means that school does not think you are the best fit.

If you aren't sure which college you want to apply to, or if you aren't sure whether that college will accept you, it's time to send out more than one application. There's absolutely nothing wrong with applying to more than one college, and most high school counselors encourage it. However, you shouldn't apply to a hundred different places, either.
If you want to do well on the ACT, you need to make sure that you're ready for it. There are some specific things that you can do to help improve your chances of scoring well.
First, you should read things carefully, and that includes the main instructions, the instructions for each test, and the instructions for each question – as well as the questions themselves.
We've all had bad teachers, but some are much worse than others, and there are ways to handle them that work well and that will benefit you, instead of just making more trouble.
Not everyone is good with time management. People have trouble budgeting their time appropriately and they don't get things done like they should. This is often a problem with studying and completing work for students and also for those who work in the business world.
