How do you get the most out of your summer? Do you stay at home and relax or take classes to get ahead in school? Though both options sound rather good, it is important to note that summer is a time to relax but not forget about school. In most schools, summer work is assigned. Now, a lot of students wait until the last minute of summer to complete the assignments. To get the most out of summer it may be a good idea to pace yourself and start at the beginning of summer. Then, by the end of summer you will be close to done if not completely finished. Furthermore, it is important to remember that summer should, also, be a time to relax and enjoy life. Therefore, don't over stress about school. Instead, setup a schedule that allows you to mange your days in a balanced way. For example, to do homework after you get done with a job or other plan, and then after you finish the days assignment, go and hang out with friends. In this way, you are studying, as well as, enjoying your summer.
Here are some things you can do during your summer (while also doing schoolwork):
-Get a job, or an internship (During school time, many schools offer summer internships for different places. Also, there is sometimes contests to win a summer internship.)
-Go outside as often as possible. (The weather is so nice! Enjoy it by playing a sport, or just walking around, or sitting and reading.)
-Reading (If you enjoy reading for fun, then summer is a great time to catch up on all the reading you've missed out because of school)
-Do something different. (During your summer vacation, try to find one thing that you haven't done in a while, that you truly enjoy. Also, you could try to find something brand new to try to do. Whatever it is, go and find it!)
