AP_Work_R wrote:That's true. China relies on U.S. for its economy. Had U.S. left it alone, China wouldn't be much developed as it is today (they really have cool looking buildings too :D).
Just remember that the Founding Fathers did not intend the American government to be democracy - they didn't think that average Joe would be responsible enough to decide who would run the government...
Actually, since the U.S. imports more than we export, we borrow tons of money from China to fill the gap.
Exactly!!! (well, I'm 100% positive that U.S. borrowed money from China...could be wrong) U.S. buys products from China and that's where China makes its money. You proved my point, and re-enforced it, thanks :).

I odnt not think that our country will ever become communist. I do believe we could become more socialistic if things coutinue the way they are going. I think communism looks good on paper, but it isnt good in the long run. For example, the soviet union on lasted 70 years before it collapsed. I think that things will changed come the next election, nothing against the president and all, but i dont think we could ever become communist.
I have always been pro communist. Communism is the perfect form of government. Only problem is that it keeps getting corrupted. But then again which gov't doesn't get corrupted. But if there is a way to amke an uncorrupted communism the gov't would be perfect. If you actually look at the statistics you will see that there is less crime and of course no poverty in a pure communist gov't. Schools try to teach us otherwise but soon with ap you will know the truth.

Communism won't work...It can't... You can't have a government where people get everything equally. It's impossible to have a classless society. If so-called true communism was established, there would still be the upper class - the government! The government determines whether or not war would be fought, the amount of money people would get annually/monthly, etc. It's good in theory but in reality, it'll collapse.
Sure, the government's trying to be fair in all aspects but what about work? One man cleans toilets/buildings/schools/etc. and the other only directs the worker. Both are paid the same yet, one man works harder than the other. Oh, as for the director, wouldn't he also be considered to be a higher class, since he has the ability to "direct" the workers?

Actually, there would be poverty. Say Bill Gates distributed all of his money for fairness to every single person in the world. Count the elderly, parents, kids, teens, and even infants being born. If you calculate the total amount of population and divide Bill Gates' money by that, everyone would get just about under $1 (maybe even less). Additionally, this amount would also fall if you look at the annual birth rates. And what happens if the economy fails? Wouldn't the entire country fall under poverty? The rich and the poor are a must in order for eonomic circulation to continue in it's cycle. There has to be the clash between the two for economy to work. Besides, communism causes corruption.
There is no such thing as a "perfect" government. There are ideal governments that work for countries, but never a "perfect" one since all governments has its own flaws.

I agree. Nothing is perfect or immune from corruption. Sure, communism may look good on PAPER, but in all practicality, it eventually fails. Come to think of it, all forms of government fail, so we have to adopt a new one. Trial and Error. If we stopped buying from China, I think they'd survive. And since we do import more than export, if all our importers (those that give to us, I think that's correct terminology) stopped selling to us, we'd be lame ducks.
You want me to do what again?!
Why Me?
Not that the US is moving towards communism but China is starting to catch up to the US. You never know, cause after Britain rules for a few hundred, they lost most of their power. Now thats happening to the US, cept we didnt have it as long. With more and more jobs being sent out of the country, its inevitable that they will make more and more money. Thats why China, with its ginormous poopulation, is going to more likely take over the world economy. Although they are still a bit communist, the grasp of the communist party is slowing fading away. If we do drift towards communism, i doubt if many people with comply with the fact of sharing everything. People in the US have been getting lazier with each generation. Obesiety (or however you spell it) is coming from the laziness. Might as well do nothing at all in a communist society and jsut get free food.
Patience is a Virtue.... or so they say :D

We have to make a world communist government. Or Pretty much unite all people under one communist flag. Think of how much money the U.S. spends on military holding troops in other countries. And Britain or any other country has troops in the same ones we do. By uniting the world we would cut down on that doubling over. An as AP_Work_R put it if Bill Gates gave his money to every person it would be less than a dollar. But the thing is that he wouldn't have to give it to every person. Just the one that are poor and don't have any money. This would be more than enough if you include all the other affluent people or countries. Also your statement on growth of population and how there would actually be less money for everyone. WE should take a page out of chinas book and do the one child or maybe(because of the failure of that rule in china) put a two child rule if the first was a girl.
COMMUNISM is the perfect government so make it WORLDWIDE

Communism is not perfect. No form of government is ever perfect, and none will ever be. Governments can be improved but never perfected; you can look at all forms of government and find at least 2-3 things wrong with it. Everything in the world, whether language, humans/animals, etc. has their own flaws. Look what happened to countries that tried Communism. It seemed to work but it failed! Communism causes corruption. It only benefits the upper class and the "regular" (where everyone is supposedly equal) class doesn't get anything useful. Also, all forms of government has social classes. Communism is not an exception. It too has its own upper class and lower class. Great for school paper, failure in reality.

Wait a second here... who decides to have children? I thought it was the parents? And by placing such rule, then it wouldn't be Communism would it...? I thought there weren't any social classes, so how can the government tell us what to do...? WAIT...then doesn't that make the government the upper class and makes us the lower class??? After all, we become absolutely powerless against this 2 child rule. One more thing, what if the second child is a twin? Then wouldn't it be 3 children...but the law says 2 children...so...should we kill the one we don't like? But wait a second...whatever happened to human rights?
See what Communism leads to? Frankly, it has even more flaws that a Democratic government!
