I think God does exist, but sometimes its hard to keep your faith in Him strong. I mean there's so many evil people in the world and they have so much and yet there are still many innocent people dying and starving everywhere, some are victims of these evil people. God is there because well I don't think the universe just popped up out of nowhere, but sometimes I question the divine justice thing. If he's truly up there, why doesn't he help those who need him most?
You know what? I've tried to explain my beliefs four times and it didn't even make sense to me. Let's just say I believe in God, but not the way anybody else does...
It's a very complex theory I've got.

"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."
"But," say Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It
My question(s) are:
If God does exist, and God is all powerful and what not, why doesn't he make it so everyone believes in him? Why would God not make everyone believe he exists and pray for him and praise him?
I have the same feelings as pianogirl2422 (whose signature I really like) and believe in god but I don't have the same perception of him that others do. actually my beliefs are highly frowned upon in my little section of the bible belt. I don't think the bible is an important part of religion...what do you guys think? I just think it's just a book and written by a human, showing no proof of a divine being having any influence whatsoever, just that the author had a really good imagination and a Knack for story telling. Also it has been translated so many times that much of the origional meaning is lost in that translation. (sorry I have a lot of pressure to relieve about this issue.) :o
"I have a feeling I'm falling on rare occasions but most of the time I have my feet on the ground, I can't help it if the ground itself is falling."
The Bible WAS written by men... It's totally biased and it has been modified countless times.
Thank you someone who agrees!!!! (my beliefs are shunned where i live)
"I have a feeling I'm falling on rare occasions but most of the time I have my feet on the ground, I can't help it if the ground itself is falling."
But see, that's where I get confused. I don't understand how you can believe in God but not the Bible if the Bible *IS* the *word* of God supposedly. You either believe it all or you don't. That's partly why I don't believe in God at all.
I don't believe in the god of the bible you see (hence my awkward position) but i do believe in a supreme being that created us intentionally or not. it is very hard not to believe in something because for man it is very uncomfortable to think that we're just here and that's it.
"I have a feeling I'm falling on rare occasions but most of the time I have my feet on the ground, I can't help it if the ground itself is falling."
So you don't believe in God per se, you just believe there is a higher being or higher power which we originated from.
Correct?
exactly. i just don't believe in the god portrayed by everyone around me... oops gotta go.
