yet he sends people down to hell.
Seriously?! *gasp* And I thought it was free will!
I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception.

Okay...so which God are we talking about...? Allah, or God from Judaism/Christianity? >_< second part's controversial...
If you're talking about God from Christian perspectives and asking why He sends them to hell, the answer's obvious! If you're really a Christian (tallgeese) you should know that answer. God sends people to hell only because they don't believe. He offered choice/free-will. So if you don't believe or refuse to believe, then that's your choice.
This is slightly extreme but why do people who are atheists/agnostics/etc. get angry when Christians tell them that they would go to hell? Why should they get mad over going to a place they won't believe exists  when they die (I mean, these people believe that they'll reincarnate, go to some other place, or become worm-food).

that isnt slightly extreme, it is very very extreme. you cannot judge, you are not God. if they do not know of the fullness of the gospel, they cannot be condemned. people like to think that they rest peacefully when they die, not be stuck in a place where thirst is unquenchable and there are fiery brimstones everyhwhere. for example: let's say you're a straight girl. what i fi came up to you and called you fag and told you that you were a fag. wouldnt you be insulted? it's not very nice.

Whoa! I thought they didn't believe in God! So, would it really matter? They have no belief, so all atheists believe that you just decay after you die.
And no, I wouldn't be insulted if you came up to me and called me a "fag." You're only insulting homosexuals, not me. You're only calling people that just because you're angry and can only resolve the problem by trying to insult them, and it works most of the times (but really, I really think that people who call you stupid or swear at you has a really weak mind trying to escape  ) And secondly, if you were a true Christian (which I doubt) you shouldn't really be angry at people calling you a fag. I mean, does what other's angry opinion of you really matter? If these "insults" bring you down, then you really do have weak perceptions in life.

Oh and one more thing: Why do you say that Christians are judgmental? We're doing what we believe is right...so doesn't that make you judgmental...?

So then why is it disrespectful to insult others? Why do people get offended when you insult them?
Are we all so weak and inferior to you, oh master who doesn't get hurt by insults.
Get a reality check...

We don't believe it, we know it. Care to explain how else a dead body becomes a rotten skeleton?
God ate our flesh? Don't think so..

It's because human nature is made that way. Overcoming insults is overcoming yourself. When someone swears at you, your natural instinct is to swear back or throw a punch right? If you can hold yourself and keep your cool, you can distinguish yourself as a person of a better personality than a person with a trashy (sorry if it's crude) personality who just HAS to insult back. Say you insult Bush in his face. Do you think he would curse and punch you? What about John Kerry. Do you think he'll beat you up? No. Why? Because they have self-control. Not many people have self-control, and keeping yourself from "getting back" demonstrates it.
And see? You somehow got insulted - and you probably posted right after reading my post - and immediately, your natural instinct was to post a sarcastic remark against me. And I'm not saying that I'm better than everyone else, but you wrote that to try to bring me down. But that's okay :). I'm not going to post an angry remark.

We don't believe that we'll take our bodies when we die... I think you have it confused... Anyways, so why bother to take our "worldly" bodies when we die? We take our spirits instead! And it's obvious that we rot when we die. Bible doesn't state that we won't rot when we die, so I wonder where you got that assumption.

I am agnostic, I don't see how you could fully believe that a God does or doesn't exist when there is no proof one way or the other.
I understand having ideas one way or the other, but total, complete belief I can't understand.
