Originally, I was thinking of going to either CalTech, MIT, or University of Missouri Rolla because all three are great schools for engineering and mathematics (what I want to major in). After visiting all of the schools, I have narrowed those three down to MIT and UMR. MIT is a VERY good school and very accredited, but also expensive. UMR is a really good school, and I could get a lot of scholarships to go there. It is also closer to home, so moving there would be cheaper. I am still looking into other possibilities (Cornell, Harvard, etc...). We'll see what happens...

I am planning on majoring in Music Education at Berklee College of Contemporary Music in boston.

Jazz alllll the way.

Otherwise, if I decide it would just be smarter to be a history teacher, I'll try and get into Boston University (about 10 minutes from Berklee) from secondary education and american studies.

MIT is the hardest university to get to in the country ;)

Good luck.

I know a girl in MIT, you really gotta be a ninja to get in there. But it's always worth the shot.

I would want to go to Texas Univeristy but would they look for a student from New Jersey? How can I make them recognize me?

I'm applying to MIT, Georgia Tech, and Harvard. I know I want to do engineering, but I'm not sure what kind. I'm into aerospace and computer right now. I was considering electrical until we started doing circuits in Physics....I didn't do too well. Although, it may have helped if I were actually in class for more than the first three days of the chapter. Anyways, I'm only applying to those three, but I'm pretty sure I'll be accepted to at least GT. Being a black female with good grades is in my favor ;).
