How does your teacher teach?

I am an AP student in Lexington, SC. My teacher insists on making us write our own quizzes and pass them to our neighbors. Then when we fail them she says we are in a college course we shouldnt complain. My thing is that we are treated like we are two until we fail then we are treated like we are twenty. I dont understand. She wont even lecture us, or give worksheets. She hasnt even gotten in front of the room before to teach. NEVER! Can someone please tell me if this is normal or not. Or should I seek the administrations help!   I REALLY cant stand the woman!

definately seek administrative help, my teacher gives us note from this site, and makes blanks reads them off and gives us a quiz the next class

My teacher just doesn't...teach. Ever. It's depressing.

But said teacher has tenure so yeah. Can't do anything about it.

My teacher gives us identifications, notes, then test, id's, notes, test..constantly, every blue moon she gives an essay or dbq!!! It sucks, I love history, but i'm beginning to hate it, because the book sucks (American Pageant: 11th edition), and my teacher tends to be boring. Nothing new, hardly EVER!!!!

my teacher is a feminist...so that's all she teaches. i go to her ap review sesson (1 hr during lunch) and about half the time she's telling us about every WOMEN role. even the very MINOR stuff like who was the first women on the Pres. cabinet. She knows there's only 2-4 questions about women on the AP tests...but still, that's all she's teaching us.

and the very last 5 minutes of class she starts saying...oh yea...know hamilton, jefferson (Ect.)

oh...i got less than 2 weeks till my AP test...and my teacher hasn't taught me anything higher than WWII. woah...kinda missing about 60 years of knowledge that i gotta teach myself? oh...and anything between 1500-1800 i gotta teach myself also. (that was last year's stuff that she failed to review with us)

effective eh?

Ya I feel as though I taught my self this year also. My teacher didn't teach very well at all. She just put up a few notes on the overhead and said that you could take them if you wanted to.

It highlights the main things of the time, it works!! Believe me!!!
