The constitution is the basis of democracy in the United States of America. The constitution sets the guidelines for the political and social aspects of American life. The constitution if divides into seven separate articles and then currently twenty-seven more amendments. Article one informs us about the fist of the three branches of Government which is the legislative branch. Section one of this article states that the legislative branch consists of the congress which consist of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
