the black plague was thought to be spread from the jews. so the europeans decided to burn and persecute more jews during this time. the spread of this plague was due to the trade routes such as the silk road and indian ocean maritime. when the rats got on board the fleas they had carried the disease causing it to spread.

The Han empire began in 206 B.C. when Liu Bang, prince of Han, defeated the Qin army in the valley of Wei. The defeat was part of a larger rebellion that began after the First Emporer's death. The people were dissatisfied with the tyranny of the Qin leaders and their Legalist form of government. However, while traditional Chinese history portrays the Han as implementing immediate changes in government, evidence shows the Han continued to rule in the tradition of the Qin, and only gradually incorporated Confucian ideals into their Legalist form of government.

Congress has a split personality: law making institution vs. representative assembly
Members of Congress perceive their roles differently:
Delegate: a view of the role of the legislators that holds that they should represent the views of their constituents even when personally holding different views
Trustee: A view of the role of the legislatures that holds that they should vote independently based on their judgment of the facts
Most legislators switch back and fourth between roles
