Genetic Engineering generally speaking is an act of modifying parts of a DNA and can change the subjects? natural behavior. A gene is the basic unit of heredity in a living organism. Genetic engineering is about getting a gene from one thing and putting that new gene somewhere else, probably to compensate for one that is not working properly or to create new characteristics. #2. What are three positive points to Genetic Engineering? > Genetic Engineering can be used to increase the nutritional value to certain foods, and even change the taste for certain foods for the better.
