Elected as president in the 1800s, Jefferson tried to implement many of his philosophical ideals to his presidency term. During his term, many of his actions as president seemed contradicting and against his ideals. Due to situations during those times and for the well being of U.S.A, Jefferson had to change his ideals and make controversial actions.
