Triangle Shaped Flames by: Kayleigh Hursh
??? To most, money is the thing that drives them. Max Blanck and Isaac Harris, however took this lust to a new extreme, at the cost of 146 lives.1 These men were the co-owners of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company. The Triangle factory was housed in the Asch Building in New York City.1 In the factory there was a terribly gruesome fire on March 25, 1911, slaughtering many of the women that worked under strenuous, cramped, unsafe, and unsanitary conditions.2
