Ian Mondschein Puritan time travel project Sermon Pre-Writing Questions: Purpose: The purpose of this sermon is to reveal the drastic difference in society now then it was when during the 17th century. I am trying to make the readers of this sermon realize that society during the 17th century was much different than current day and that the Puritans would not have dealt with all of the changes very well if the same people were still alive during the 17th century.
