This includes eastern China, the islands of Japan and Taiwan. China’s population is clustered along the Pacific Coast and fertile river valleys like the Huang and the Yangtze. Although China has people living in large cities, most of the people are farmers. In Japan and South Korea, most of the people live in large metropolitan areas like Tokyo and Seoul.
