Page 1 11/10/2010 Tinker Case Review The Tinker Standard is a regulation that gives students the right to freely express themselves without teacher interference. The students are given this right on the condition that it does not involve violation of the social conduct. This standard was first set when a group of students wore black armbands to school in protest of the Vietnam conflict.
