NAPOLEON ERA TERMS Oligarchy- is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, or military control. Admiral Horatio Nelson- was a flag officer famous for his service in the Royal Navy, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. Of his several victories, the best known and most notable was the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, during which he was shot and killed. Rosetta Stone- an ancient Egyptian granodiorite stele inscribed with a decree issued at Memphis in 196 BC on behalf of King Ptolemy?V. The decree appears in three scripts: the upper text is Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, the middle portion Demotic script, and the lowest Ancient Greek.

He self-aggrandizes the farm animals into thinking he is always right and that they should always listen to him and only him. He shows that he only cares about himself not what is best for the farm. He intimidates the other animals and consolidates his power. These characteristics lead the animals to believe that Napoleon is always right
