On May 1st, 1915, the Lusitania set sail from New York to Liverpool carrying passengers and ?secretly? ammunition. 1257 passengers, entering the war zone, where German u- boats awaited. At the beginning of the war, Britain naval blockaded the Germans, as result, in 1915, Germany declared the area as war zone, ?all enemy vessels ? armed or not= at risk. Submarines = new and frightening.
