The U.S. president Woodrow Wilson presented a 14-point plan that provided the outline for the Treaty of Versailles, although Germany hoped the Treaty would be based on Woodrow's plan, only 4 of the points were actually included in the Treaty of Versailles. At the Hall of Mirrors, the Treaty of Versailles finally ended the Great War, but this created a setting for World War II because of the antagonism left by the U.S, France, and Germany.
