President Eisenhower won the 1952 election, partially on his promise to end the war in Korea but mostly on his name and reputation as the hero of World War II. Listen to Eisenhower?s statement. ?I Like Ike? became the rallying cry for America as he won a sweeping victory in 1952 and again in 1956, making him the president of the ?50s. Eisenhower worked to reduce the tensions of the Cold War abroad. On the home front, he oversaw the creation of the Interstate Highway System.

The water cycle describes the existence and movement of water on, in, and above the Earth. Earth's water is always in movement and is always changing states, from liquid to vapor to ice and back again.
