The Nazi/Hitler Salute was a widely-used greeting not only for German Nazi Soldiers, but also for common German citizens back when Hitler came to power. The Hitler /Nazi salute was a modification of Roman salute that was adopted by the Nazi Party. Adding on, Hitler and the S.S leader, Heirrich Himmler, understood that it originated from ancient gatherings of Germanic citizens. Pursuing this further, Hitler believed that the Significance of the Nazi/Hitler salute was to show the aggressive spirits of German Citizens. On the other hand, Himmler viewed it as a variation of the motion of giving a pledge with a raised lance. Also, The Nazi/Hitler Salute was a resultant from signals used during coronation of early medieval kings in company with the shout of ?Heil.?

Ellen Foster is a story of a redoubtable, young girl with a very abysmal life. Her father is a bad tempered drunk whose internecine behavior caused the death of her mother and eventually his own. She then lives with the art teacher, Julia, who reveals to her the kinder side of life but this memorable and happy time is quickly replaced with a harrowing one. She has to spend her time trying to tolerate or even overcome the loathing demeanor and offensive remarks of her relatives and still try to have a vivacious childhood. Her tenaciousness evokes a sense of caring and hope that she will find a better home while her perspicacity allows the reader to sympathize with her because she knows how factious her life really is.

Rosencrans Paul Rosencrans 10/4/2010 4th hr Scarlet Letter Nathaniel Hawthorne?s The Scarlet Letter is interrupted in many different ways and concluded to several themes. The Puritan idea that sin is permanently damaging and its inevitable destructiveness is inescapable is one of the central themes of the novel. This suggests that Hester, Dimmesdale, and Chillingworth will always be defined by their sins despite their attempts to deny or hide them.
