Patrick Sayers ` Period 8 5/18/14 Assessment The name of the organization I worked at was Holy Cross Holy. Holy Cross church is located in 4492 Lake Avenue in Charlotte. The date I worked at Holy Cross was 4/13/14.The person I worked with during my service was Jeff Lootens. The reason I chose the service is because I like working in a community like Holy Cross, and I wanted to get to know new people, and learn new things. This activity was different from the previous service I did because I was doing the basketball clock for the very first time by myself. After the games I swept the basketball court, and served food at the concession stand.

Patrick Sayers period 8 4/27/14 chapter 11 1) Nonviolence has influenced the way that we live our everyday life. Active nonviolence is one more way too help stray away from evil that we have created. By living out nonviolence we have gotten closer to ending the evil that flows in us, and closer to God. One example of this is war. Instead of fighting wars against our brothers and sisters, and causing bloodshed, we can find a way to have peace between the two sides.

Paul Monachino, Patrick Sayers, and Grace Mahoney 2/11/14 Explaining the Sixth Commandment: You shall not commit adultery: You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery. But we say to you that everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." The sixth commandment upholds chastity as a moral virtue, a gift from God, a grace, a fruit of spiritual effort. Chastity is a moral virtue. The Holy Spirit enables one whom the water of baptism has renewed to imitate the purity of Christ.

Writing an effective research summary or profile Content Does the summary give a clear indication of the research problem, question or hypothesis ? or at least a definable topic area? Style Is every sentence - and every word - doing something for the reader? How many words are wasted on phrases like ?this dissertation sets out to show?? How could any parts be rephrased to have more impact? Is the vocabulary generally strong and positive (e.g. ?demonstrates?, ?shows?, ?critiques?), or is it weak and vague (e.g. ?hopes?, ?tries?, ?attempts?)? Is the profile written in the present tense (good) or the future tense (less good)? Are the sentences too long (try reading it aloud ? do you finish breathless?!) or too short (do you sound like Tony Blair)?

By definition, polygamy is the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time. Continuing from biblical times, polygamy has been commonly associated with the Mormon Church and television shows like Big Love or Sister Wives. Due to diverging beliefs between polygamists and monogamists on the sanctity of marriage and relationships, those who have multiple partners are looked at as pariahs and their beliefs as taboo. An analysis of the structure of polygamy reveals that it provides unity and financial stability; and should not be punishable or illegal.

To the production seamstress, For my production of Julius Caesar: On Ice, I?ve designed very detailed costumes for Caesar, Antony, Octavius, Cassius, Brutus, Calpurnia, and Portia. These costumes have been very thought out and have great meaning behind them, so please make note of what each character wears and what scene they wear it in. Caesar: For Caesar, I?ve designed an orange toga with strips of red drapery and a gold cuff bracelet. The red signifies power and ruthlessness while the orange represents his tragic flow, his over confidence. This outfit will be used when the crowd is praising and coaxing Caesar to take the ?crown? so MAKE SURE his cuff is gold, because it represents his success. Cassius:
