Is it appropriate to build a mosque near the World Trade Center Site? This debate has grown to an international topic. Some people say the Muslim center will help the economy. Some say it will show America?s tolerance for religious freedom. On the other hand some argue the building of a mosque near Ground Zero is disrespectful and inflicts stress on the families of the victims of 9/11. I believe the United States should allow the mosque to be built. The reason is our soldiers fight wars in Iraq and Afghanistan everyday to protect Muslims from tyranny, so why cannot Muslims be protected at the place they call home? 67% of Americans believe that the Muslims have the right to do so but another 71% feels it is wrong to do so.

1) There is no Declaration of Rights, and the laws of the general government being paramount to the laws and constitution of the several States, the Declarations of Rights in the separate States are no security. Nor are the people secured even in the enjoyment of the benefit of the common law. 2) In the House of Representatives there is not the substance but the shadow only of representation; which can never produce proper information in the legislature, or inspire confidence in the people; the laws will therefore be generally made by men little concerned in, and unacquainted with their effects and consequences.
