The Constitution is divided into 3 main parts: Preamble ? An introduction and explanation of what the goals of the constitution is set to be. Articles ? There are 7 articles. Legislative branch. The Senate and the House of Representatives. Describes the organization of Congress and lists powers that the government is allowed and the powers not allowed.?By the?elastic clause, Congress is allowed to make laws needed to carry out its enumerated powers. Executive Branch. States powers & duties of the president, qualifications to be in office, & steps to electing the president, and provides for a VP.?
