European Feudalism Top 10 Feudalism- This new economic and political system created three classes of people. Clergy, Nobility and Peasants called the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Estates. Rise of cities- This increased trade, markets, the building of walls for protection, and created freedom for peasants. Pope- Had great power with the ability to excommunicate people; united Europe under the power of Catholicism Castles and Cathedrals- Forced Europe to build a civilization because groups had to unite to build the large buildings. Infrastructure like roads, business, accounting, markets and cities were all built to help support the task of raising castles and cathedrals.

The novel portrays the inescapable intensity and reality of the Vietnam War. Before the war, Kien had lived a life peaceful and heavenly compared to what he went through the war. However, throughout the course of the war, Kien experiences huge amounts of trauma leading to his lethargic and dismal way of life. The Sorrow of War portrays the experiences Kien went through in the Vietnam War.

Robert Moses, an urban planner, helped design the roadways and bridges that make up Long Island and New York City. Robert Moses spent twenty-seven billion dollars and displaced a quarter million people to build many public works projects. Moses both positively and negatively affected New York. He helped ease traffic problems for middle-class residents. He also disregarded the feelings and the opinions of the poor and the blacks. Moses used his influential power in order to open Long Island.

Until the foundation of Jamestown, however, the English didn?t have any successful permanent colonies in North America. - Prior to Jamestown, Sir Walter Raleigh of the Sea Dogs formed a joint stock company and received a charter to found a colony on Roanoke Island in 1584. It failed, and he tried again in 1585 and 1587. Both were failures, and the fate of the 1587 colony remains a mystery (all colonists disappeared).

Isogloss geographic boundary within which a particular linguistic feature occurs. Language families within a language family, languages have shared but distant origin.
