The Nazi/Hitler Salute was a widely-used greeting not only for German Nazi Soldiers, but also for common German citizens back when Hitler came to power. The Hitler /Nazi salute was a modification of Roman salute that was adopted by the Nazi Party. Adding on, Hitler and the S.S leader, Heirrich Himmler, understood that it originated from ancient gatherings of Germanic citizens. Pursuing this further, Hitler believed that the Significance of the Nazi/Hitler salute was to show the aggressive spirits of German Citizens. On the other hand, Himmler viewed it as a variation of the motion of giving a pledge with a raised lance. Also, The Nazi/Hitler Salute was a resultant from signals used during coronation of early medieval kings in company with the shout of ?Heil.?
