G?day. My name is Samuel Ellan Daniels. But you can just call me Sam. I?m going to take you back and show you a look inside my childhood. I was born in 1919, and times were much different then. We didn?t have phones or ipods back then. I was born into a colored family, and as a baby, I remember my parents talking about the KKK. They were a group of people who hated blacks like me. Apparently we were ?different?. My parents always worried about them, and each night before bed we thanked God for keeping us safe. Apparently the year before I was born, a huge war just got over. Everyone was happy, and had jobs. Even my colored parents both got jobs working for Ford. It was pretty special, and I was proud of them. Imagine both your parents working for Microsoft. Yea, it was neat.
